Allison Wagner is an American former competition swimmer, Olympic medalist, and former world record-holder. She won the gold medal in the 200-meter individual medley and the silver medal in the 400-meter individual medley at the 1993 FINA Short Course World Championships in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. In addition to being a proponent of clean sport, Allison is also a founding member of AOTO and the Al Oerter Foundation – both organizations of Olympians and Paralympians who promote the Olympic Ideals – integrity, character, respect, honor, and work ethic – through educational programs.
