Edgar Chiu has been the Co-founder and Managing Partner of SparkLabs Taiwan, a startup accelerator and venture capital fund, since 2018. He leads a mentorship-driven program, propelling startups globally, and is a proud first institutional investor in many portfolio companies. SparkLabs Taiwan hosts Taiwan’s largest demo day, attracting over 1,200 attendees, including over 400 international investors.
Previously, he served as the founding COO of Gogolook, scaling Whoscall, a global caller ID service, before its acquisition by NAVER. Edgar’s background includes a stint as an IBM management consultant and co-founding Jumpstart Global, a talent incubation program. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance from National Tsing Hua University.
